Martita's Lunch Box: Authentic Mexican Comfort Food in El Paso

First time here from out of town. Great lunch menu and prices. The food was delicious . The tortillas freaking delicious. Big portions. Will be back next time we come back to El Paso

My new favorite Mexican restaurant, loved the atmosphere, my menudo was delicious, my husband ordered machaca con huevos and he also liked it, specially the beans. Definitely will be coming back. A bit far from where I live but worth the trip.

Visited here for breakfast with my family and had a delightful experience. The chicharrones were a standout, perfectly flavorful - a must-try for anyone visiting. The homemade tortillas were another highlight, soft and flavorful, elevating every dish they accompanied. While the scrambled eggs were a tad overcooked for my taste, preferring them fluffier, it seems to be a common cooking style in the area rather than a fault of the restaurant itself. My children, aged 8 and 11, absolutely loved the pancakes. Their plates were clean before I could even sneak a taste, which speaks volumes about how delicious they must have been. My husband's steak plate had promising flavors, but the meat was unfortunately tougher than preferred, making it a bit of a challenge to enjoy fully. Customer Service was great, we had the pleasure of having G.O. as our server and he really went above and beyond to ensure we were happy customers! Despite the few hitches, the overall dining experience was excellent, with dishes that clearly spoke to the quality and care put into their preparation. Would definitely recommend Martita's Lunch Box for a tasty, family-friendly meal.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious especially the enchiladas, which were flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Our server, Karina, was exceptional. She was kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout our meal, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant was warm and inviting. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, and the overall environment added to an enjoyable dining experience. Great food with wonderful service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning!

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, you just found it The Lunch Box! I had a simple red chili borrito. The beef was fat free and tender! They make their own tortillas on side in a glass bubble! Incredible great taste. The boys from Fort Bliss come here every day. Thank you for your service and for your patronage!

We had the combo 1 & 2. They were great! Great atmosphere, very nice waitress and very clean. We go there about 15mins before they close so we got to see them begin a deep cleaning. It was very reassuring that this was a great place to eat!!! Two thumbs up!!!

Martita’s Lunchbox has been around for decades! Always have a great meal at a great price. On this visit, My hubby and I ordered the Comida Corrida (Friday option) crispy lightly toasted chicken tacos, flavorful chicken caldo and for dessert creamy sweetness arroz con leche…YUM! Staff is welcoming and friendly.

I’m from out of town first time here. Didn’t know what to expect. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with oldies but goodie music (LOVED IT) theres also a glass window where they’re making their own DELICIOUS hot, big, soft, fluffy flour tortillas! Yummy!! Place is pretty big with lots of room. Service was amazing! Lots of food options to pick from. I selected a lunch special that came with Caldo de res w/ a corn tortilla along with rice. For main entree carne verde, w/ a side salad and beans and a flour tortilla also come with arroz con Leche. All of that for a VERY reasonable price. You get A LOT of food for your buck. And the food is delicious. If you’re a local don’t pass this place up.
